Networking Prerequisite
ALM Octane requires a network which can be built with the following command, which is preconfigured on the NimbusServer VM
docker network create --subnet 172.50.0.0/16 --gateway 172.50.0.1 demo-net
Adjusting Parameters at Run Time
If you need to change one of these parameters you can add that change to the docker-app command using the -s or --set option as in:
nimbusapp octane:26.1 -s OCTANE_PORT=8085 up

Additional Information
- As of 15.1.44.51, the Prisma server will be started with Octane and is reachable on port 8185. This also spins up another elasticsearch container to support Prisma
- Starting with version 12.60.60.57, the Octane Synchronizer has been removed. If you require synchronization capability, please refer to Micro Focus Connect.
- When starting a new Octane version after using an older one, please clear the browser cache to experience the enhanced login screen.
- Changing your browser language may have adverse affects on Octane (specifically, you may not be able to add CI servers).
- The Client ID and Client Secret for a given image can be found inside the container in the directory /opt/octane/apikeys
