AltTester®️
AltTester®️ is a UI Test Automation solution for Unity applications.
How to use this image
Use the following command to start the AltTester®️ Desktop in batchmode:
bashdocker run -p 13000:13000 -e TERMS_AND_CONDS=accepted -e ALTTESTER_DESKTOP_LICENSE=my-license alttestertools/alttester:latest
If you want to get the logs file from the Docker image, use the following command:
bashdocker run -p 13000:13000 -v "$(pwd)":/AltTesterLogs -e TERMS_AND_CONDS=accepted -e ALTTESTER_DESKTOP_LICENSE=my-license alttestertools/alttester:latest
And you should see the AltTester.log file in the current working directory.
Running in Secure Mode
To start the AltTester®️ Desktop in secure mode with SSL/TLS, you need to provide a certificate. Mount your certificate file and set the certificate path:
cmddocker run -p 13000:13000 ^ -v "%cd%/path/to/certificate.pfx":/AltTesterCertificates/certificate.pfx ^ -e TERMS_AND_CONDS=accepted ^ -e ALTTESTER_DESKTOP_LICENSE=my-license ^ -e CERTIFICATE_PATH=//AltTesterCertificates/certificate.pfx ^ alttestertools/alttester:latest
If your certificate is password-protected, also provide the password:
cmddocker run -p 13000:13000 ^ -v "%cd%/path/to/certificate.pfx":/AltTesterCertificates/certificate.pfx ^ -e TERMS_AND_CONDS=accepted ^ -e ALTTESTER_DESKTOP_LICENSE=my-license ^ -e CERTIFICATE_PATH=//AltTesterCertificates/certificate.pfx ^ -e CERTIFICATE_PASSWORD=my-cert-password ^ alttestertools/alttester:latest
Platform Support
⚠️ Important: This Docker image is built for x86_64 (AMD64) architecture and is designed for use on Linux x86_64 hosts, Windows with WSL2, and CI/CD environments.
Not supported: This image does not work on Apple Silicon Macs. The x86_64 binary cannot run properly through Rosetta emulation and will crash on startup.
Notes
Note: When using
docker killto stop the container, the AltTester®️ Desktop process might not clean up properly, and the license may remain active.
