Jenkins Container for Boomi CI/CD

How to run?

docker run -p 8080:8080 -p 50000:50000 --name "boomicicd" \
-e JENKINS_USER=${JENKINS_USER} \
-e JENKINS_PASS=${JENKINS_PASS} \
-e KEY=${KEY} \
-d -t boomicicd/jenkins:latest

That's it.

Environment variables

This image uses environment variables for configuration.

Create a back up volume mount

console
mkdir -p /var/jenkins_home        
volume="boomicicd_vol"
docker volume create --opt type=none --opt device=/var/jenkins_home --opt o=bind ${volume}

Login and basic settings

• Go to [***] and login with ${JENKINS_USER} & ${JENKINS_PASS}
• Go to [***] and set the "# of executors" to 10 & Save
• Go to [***] Scroll down to Shell and set Shell executable: /bin/bash
• Go to [***] Scroll down to Authorize JSONP or primitive XPath requests by whitelist and check the box "Allow requests without Referer"

Configuring Boomi Account

• Configure Jenkins to connect to Boomi Account. (This assume no firewall/proxy b/w Jenkins and Boomi)
• Follow the instructions under Configuring Boomi Account
