Sonar Container for Boomi Code quality checks

How to run?

This image runs a sonarqube:community edition of sonarqube. It is not meant for production installation. This image is created to provide sample XML quality profiles rules for Boomi. It is meant for demo and test purposes. The image will be updated as we add more rules for Boomi. The credentials and tokens are already pre-configured. So you don't have to change anything for demo purposes.

Create a back up volume mount

$ mkdir -p /opt/sonarqube
$ volume="sonar_vol"
$ docker volume create --opt type=none --opt device=/opt/sonarqube --opt o=bind ${volume}

console
$ docker run --name boomisonar \
-p 9000:9000 --volume ${volume}:/opt/sonarqube \
-d -t boomicicd/sonar:latest

Login and basic settings

• Goto http://localhost:9090 and login with user admin/admin
• Review the rules here http://localhost:9000/profiles/show?language=xml&name=Boomi

To test the install you can simply run boomicicd/jenkins:latest or install sonar-scanner and copy the component xml files/folders to the sources directory below.

Sonar Scanner Settings

Download and install sonar-scanner

 unzip  sonar-scanner-cli-4.2.0.1873-linux.zip

Run sonar-scanner

  -Dsonar.projectKey=BoomiSonar \
  -Dsonar.sources=. \
  -Dsonar.host.url=http://localhost:9000 \
  -Dsonar.login=82e12d4fcdfd583f963e680c63dd85d441c738e8
