This is an image to for creating PostgreSQL+PostGIS database containers with RepMgr, PG_Cron, Timescale, and numerous spatial libraries included. RepMgr provides extensive replication functionality with node registration, status, promotion and management tools. The image is designed to be used with multi-node streaming replication in a High Availability, Automatic Failover configuration, such as with Kubernetes.
The image has four variants: for PostgreSQL version 16 and version 17, with or without the Timescale extension. However, config variables can be used to control which other extensions and their versions are included.
Provision is made for storing secrets from Hashicorp Vault injectors in /vault/secrets for accessing the database. Separate container images for the injectors are available here
