Add the following service definition to a docker-compose file, replacing yourport, yourdomain.com and source volumes:

  node:
    image: derkades/tahoe-lafs:dev
    ports: ['127.0.0.1:3456:3456', '3000:3000']
    volumes:
      - type: bind
        source: ./node
        target: /data
      - type: bind
        source: /mnt/largedisk/tahoe
        target: /storage
    command: create-node --hostname=yourdomain.com /data

Run docker-compose up. Now, edit tahoe.cfg in the node directory. Here are some important options with example values:

storage_dir = /storage

expire.enabled = True
expire.mode = age
expire.override_lease_duration = 31 days

Create a private/introducers.yaml file with the following content

Finally, remove command: create-node --hostname=yourdomain.com /data from the docker-compose file, add a restart policy and start the container! The command defaults to run /data which runs your configured node normally.
