Welcome to Vision

Vision is a web based panel for Roleplay gaming, to the public services it allow to centralise informations and remove the need of google docs and similar software.

First step

docker-compose.yml with this content:

Second step

Replace the environment informations :

In "vision" part

• DATABASE_URL : nothing unless you want to use your own database (so remove the "database" part of the docker-compose file)
• MAILER_DSN : Vision need to send mails to users, so you need a valid email system
• MAILER_SENDER: the mail showed on sent emails (basocally, same as the mail in MAILER_DSN)
• APP_SECRET: som randoms chars needed to hash in vision
• DEFAULT_LOCALE: en by default, fr supported
• TZ: America/New_York by default, but you can set your own

In "database" part

you can change password and database name, but don't forget to change also in DATABASE_URL on the "vision" part

Third step

Start everything with the command

docker composer up -d

Fourth step

connect into your vision docker, then use thoses commands :

php ***/console vision:addgroup
php ***/console vision:addrank
php ***/console vision:adduser

thoses commands will create a first group, a rank for the group, then your first user. You just need to follow instructions.

Fifth step

go on vision (maybe localhost:80 if you have started vision on your computer), then, clic on "Reset" after "Forgotten password ?" and reset your created user's password

Final step

login with your new password, and now your are in vision ! You can create new groups, ranks, permissions directly from vision panel. have fun, and don't forget to star the repository :
