About GeoServer Cloud
GeoServer is an open-source server for sharing geospatial data. GeoServer Cloud repackages GeoServer as a set of independently deployable and scalable microservices built on Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
What this image provides
A self-contained Web UI microservice — the Apache Wicket-based administration interface, packaged so that all configuration happens on this service and is then propagated to the OWS services via a shared catalog backend (and, for runtime events, via RabbitMQ).
- Layer preview and OpenLayers/Leaflet map viewers
- Style editor (SLD, CSS, MBStyle)
- Layer group and layer security configuration
- Resource browser and data store management
- Demo requests and service settings
The image is built on a GeoServer base layer and includes an AOT cache for fast JVM startup. It runs behind the https://hub.docker.com/r/geoservercloud/geoserver-cloud-gateway, which routes /web requests to it.

No latest tag is published — always pin to a specific version. Images are multi-arch (linux/amd64, linux/arm64) and signed with cosign.
Quick start
Deploy together with the other GeoServer Cloud services via:
- Docker Compose: https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver-cloud/tree/main/compose
- Kubernetes: the https://github.com/camptocamp/helm-geoserver-cloud Helm chart
Standalone smoke test (no config server, no catalog, no data):
bashdocker run --rm -p 9106:9106 \ -e SPRING_PROFILES_ACTIVE=standalone,datadir \ -e GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR=/tmp/datadir \ geoservercloud/geoserver-cloud-webui:3.0.0-SNAPSHOT
Then open http://localhost:9106/ (default credentials: admin / geoserver).

Change the default admin password as soon as possible — either through the Web UI (Security → Users, Groups, Roles) or via the REST API.
