VMS Adapter Plugin - Backend
The VMS Adapter Plugin backend is the FastAPI orchestration service that bridges Video Management Systems (VMS) and https://github.com/open-edge-platform/edge-ai-suites/tree/main/metro-ai-suite applications.
It syncs cameras, manages analytics runs, proxies results, and coordinates VMS and analytics adapters. Built with a pluggable adapter model, new VMS vendors or analytics apps require only a new adapter implementation to be able to interact with each other seamlessly.
