2023-07-26: From version 2.8.2 the grottrpi image will not be supported anymore
The new 2.8.2 grott image (ledidobe/grott:2.8.2) is build for multiple architectures and will support ARM V6/V7, ARM64 and AMD64).

Grott is a Proxy/Sniffer solution to monitor the performance of the Growatt Inverter.
The data send to the Growatt server (for reporting) is monitored (sniffed) or intercepted (Proxy), interpreted and sent to a MQTT server or PVOutput.org. (from 2.2.6.multiple system id's via 1 Grott instance are support)
The proxy server is also capable of blocking commands coming from outside that can configure / restart the inverter.

- No CRC checking is being done for older converter types (length validation is always performed).
