Dandelion is a PHP application to record arbitrary events in a categorized format. It was developed within the mindset of IT where we wanted to keeps a record of events pertaining to a particular server or piece of equipment.

How to use this image

$ docker run --name some-dandelion --link some-mysql:mysql -d dandelion

The following environment variables are also honored for configuring your Dandelion instance:

• -e DANDELION_DB_HOST=mysql - Defaults to the IP of the linked mysql container and the default MySQL port
• -e DANDELION_DB_USER=root - Defaults to root
• -e DANDELION_DB_PASSWORD= - Required, password of database user
• -e DANDELION_HOSTNAME=localhost - The external DNS/IP of the instance
• -e DANDELION_DEBUG=false - Enable/disable debugging information
• -e DANDELION_PUBLIC_API=false - Enable/disable the external API

The database must already be configured and populated with the base schema which can be found here: https://github.com/onesimus-systems/dandelion/tree/master/app/install.

The image exposes port 80 which can be mapped to an external port if desired.

Docker Support

This image is officially supported on Docker version 1.13.0.

Support for older versions (down to 1.6) is provided on a best-effort basis.
