ktunnel-docker

This docker image contains a containerized version of https://github.com/omrikiei/ktunnel and can be used to forward K8s services to apps running on your local machine or docker. Basically like kubectl port-forward but in the opposite direction.

How to use

The following command will create a K8s-Service mynginx:8080 and will forward any traffic to port 80 of your local machine.

Currently this only works in host network-mode but https://github.com/omrikiei/ktunnel/pull/110 will provide a way to use it without the hosts network flag (e.g. ktunnel expose mynginx 8080:nginx:80).

docker run --network host -v /home/$USER/.kube/config:/root/.kube/config:ro luckyf/ktunnel:latest bash -c 'ktunnel expose mynginx 8080:80'
