Description

NetTools is a self-hosted web application to monitor your local network and measure your Internet connection speed. It provides a modern, responsive interface with three main modules: Net Speed (speed tests), Net Alert (device discovery) and Net Check (diagnostic tools).

Note: network_mode: host is required for arp-scan and nmap to discover devices on your local network. Without it, speed tests and diagnostic tools will work, but network scanning won't detect devices.

Data Volume

To backup, simply copy the /data/nettools.db file.

1. Create a bot with @BotFather on ***
2. Copy the Bot Token
3. Get your Chat ID (you can use @userinfobot)
4. In NetTools > Settings > *** Notifications:
   • Enable ***
   • Paste the Bot Token and Chat ID
   • Click "Send Test" to verify
   • Save settings
