Docker image to run the Portnox™ ZTNA Gateway.
Portnox™ ZTNA provides secure user access to private web applications, eliminating the need for ***s when their sole purpose is to enable access to such applications.
A private web application refers to a web application that is not publicly accessible. It can be hosted on-premises or in a secure cloud instance and is intended only for specific individuals, such as employees, students, or contractors, i.e., those who have been explicitly granted access. With the rise of remote work, remote employees frequently access these applications, requiring a secure connection over potentially insecure internet networks.
Run using Docker Engine
- Login to the Portnox™ Cloud Portal.
- Click 'Zero Trust Resources' from the top navigation.
- Click [Gateways > Create Gateway]
- Define a name for the gateway
- Select the primary region this gateway should communicate with
- Click 'Create and view details'
- Copy the Docker run command to your clipboard and paste it into the terminal window of your Docker host.
- Execute (press enter)
Example
bashsudo docker run -d --name portnox-dockerhubexample --restart always -e APIUSER={Your Tenant ORG ID} -e APIKEY={API token generated when gateway is created in portal} -e GWID={the unique identifier of the gateway. To place the container in debug mode, add '--debug' to the end of the docker command above. To then view the log output from the container run the following command.
bashdocker logs ztna-gateway -f
