AI Workspace - Kubernetes Development Environment with Multi-Agent System
Develop with AI assistance in a secure, production-like Kubernetes environment.
Work in VS Code on your laptop while code runs in an isolated EKS pod. Get full Kubernetes access, Docker builds, AI coding assistance from Claude Code, and now automated multi-agent task execution - all without local resource constraints.
Quick Start Prerequisites Before installing, ensure you have:
Kubernetes cluster access - Ask your DevOps team for kubeconfig macOS or Linux - The installer supports both Homebrew (macOS) - For automatic dependency installation
Step 1: Install the Workspace TUI
The TUI (Terminal User Interface) provides an interactive dashboard for managing your workspace.
git clone https://github.com/novi-health/auto-ai-in-k8s.git cd auto-ai-in-k8s/workspace-tui # Run the installer ./install.sh The installer will:
✅ Detect your OS and architecture ✅ Check for required tools (kubectl, devspace, gh) ✅ Offer to install missing tools (on macOS with Homebrew) ✅ Download and install workspace-tui ***ary ✅ Install helper scripts What gets installed:
ary: /usr/local//workspace-tui Helper scripts: /usr/local/lib/workspace-tui/workspace
Dependencies:
kubectl, devspace, gh (if missing and approved) Manual installation of dependencies: If you don't have Homebrew, the installer will show manual installation commands for:
kubectl - Kubernetes CLI devspace - File sync and port forwarding gh - GitHub CLI (optional)
Step 2: Configure Environment
# Set your engineer/environment name export ENGINEER_NAME=yourname # Make it permanent (add to ~/.zshrc or ~/.bashrc) echo 'export ENGINEER_NAME=yourname' >> ~/.zshrc source ~/.zshrc
Alternatively, use the --engineer flag:
workspace-tui --engineer yourname
Step 3: Launch the TUI
workspace-tui
