What is Apache Superset ?

Apache Superset is a data exp***tion and visualization web application.

Superset provides:

Superset dependencies

It needs postgress and redis installed on your machine. To solve the dependencies, use the following docker-compose file,

Run the compose up in detached mode and start the superset container because we need to set up and intiialize some of the superset defaults like,

• Creating admin
• Intilaizing database,
• Load sample data,
• Creating roles,
• Starting superset worker and
• Starting superset webserver To do all these, there is a init script whch will handle all these parameters. For that, run the script inside the superset image, i.e docker-compose exec superset bash and run the script file, bash docker-init.sh
